Warranty Policy

General Warranty Terms and Conditions Guarantor & Place of Performance

The warranty provider is Custom Tesla UG, Neudorfer Str. 1, 79541 Lörrach, Germany. To claim warranty services, the vehicle must be taken to a workshop of the warranty provider, regardless of the original assembly location. These workshops are:

  • - Rennemattenweg 1, 79576 Weil am Rhein

  • - Freiheitstraße 14-18, 42853 Remscheid

    If technically feasible, warranty service can also be provided via mobile service upon request. The travel costs are €1.00 per kilometer from the nearest location of the warranty provider.

    Disclaimers and limitations of liability

    This warranty statement is the only express warranty made in connection with your installed product. All other warranties, whether implied or express, including all statutory warranty rights arising from local law or other conditions, are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law, including, but not limited to, implied warranties and conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or durability, or warranties arising from course of business or usage of trade.

    The performance of necessary repairs or the replacement of parts by Custom Tesla is the sole remedy under this warranty or any implied warranties. Custom Tesla does not authorize any person or entity to assume any obligations or liabilities in place of Custom Tesla. The decision as to whether a part is repaired, replaced, or whether a new, remanufactured, or refurbished part is used rests solely with Custom Tesla.

    Transfer of ownership

    This guarantee is transferable free of charge to any person who acquires ownership of the products after the original purchaser.

    Warranty period

    This warranty begins on the first day after Custom Tesla delivers the product to the original purchaser and provides coverage for the period based on the stated warranty, as described in the "Warranty Coverage" section.

Parts repaired or replaced under this warranty, including the replacement of the entire product, are covered only until the end of the applicable warranty period of this warranty or as otherwise provided by applicable law.

Scope of warranty

Subject to the exclusions and limitations in this warranty, Custom Tesla will repair or replace parts free of charge if notified within the applicable warranty period. Repairs will be performed using new, refurbished, or remanufactured parts at Custom Tesla's sole discretion. All replaced parts or other components become the exclusive property of Custom Tesla unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Exclusions and limitations

This warranty does not cover damage or malfunction caused directly or indirectly due to or as a result of normal wear and tear, misuse or improper use, negligence, accident, improper maintenance, operation, storage or transport, including the following circumstances:

  • - Failure to bring the vehicle with the affected product fitted to a Custom Tesla location after discovering a defect covered by this warranty, or to have repair or service work carried out as recommended by them;

  • - Accidents, collisions, or objects that strike the vehicle;

  • - Any repair, alteration or modification of the vehicle that is carried out improperly

    was carried out, or the installation or use of fluids, parts or accessories carried out by a person or workshop that is not authorized or certified to do so;

  • - Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to discoloration, punctures, cracks, dents, creases or other deformations, stone chips to paintwork and similar damage;

  • - Improper loading of the vehicle;

  • - Theft, vandalism or disorderly conduct;

  • - Fire, explosion, earthquake, storm, lightning, hail, flood or deep water;

  • - Environmental or force majeure, including, but not limited to, the effects of

    Sunlight, chemicals from the air, tree resin, excrement from insects or animals, road debris (including rockfall), industrial waste, railway dust, salt, hail, floods, storms, thunderstorms, acid rain, fire, water, pollution, lightning and other environmental conditions.

    Custom Tesla accepts no liability for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or in connection with the vehicle, including but not limited to transportation to and from the vehicle.

at one of our locations, loss of vehicle value, loss of time, loss of income, loss of use, loss of personal or commercial property, inconvenience or hardship, emotional distress or injury, economic loss (including but not limited to lost profits or gains), towing costs, bus tickets, vehicle rental, service call costs, fuel expenses, accommodation costs, damage to the towing vehicle and incidental expenses such as telephone calls, fax transmissions and shipping costs.

Custom Tesla accepts no liability for direct damages in the amount of any sum exceeding the usual market price of the product at the time the claim is made.

The foregoing limitations and exclusions apply regardless of whether your claim is based on contract, tort (including negligence and gross negligence), breach of warranty or quality, misrepresentation (whether negligent or not), or otherwise under statute or equity, even if Custom Tesla has been advised of the possibility of such damages or such damages are reasonably foreseeable. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of indirect, direct, special, incidental, or consequential damages, the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

Claiming warranty services

To claim warranty services, you must inform Custom Tesla within the applicable warranty period and hand over the vehicle at your own expense during regular business hours at one of our locations.

You can contact us in writing via email at hello@custom-tesla.com or contact us via WhatsApp at +49 7621 5867340. When contacting us, at least the following information is required:

  • - Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)

  • - Current mileage

  • - A detailed description of the defect, including photos and, if applicable,

    Video recordings

  • - Your current contact information and/or invoice number, if applicable

    have changed since the acquisition

    After the defect is reported, Custom Tesla will respond within a reasonable timeframe and may request further information. You will receive an order confirmation detailing the work to be carried out. Whether a

Defects covered by this warranty may only be determined after a personal inspection.

You must allow Custom Tesla a reasonable amount of time to carry out repairs and/or servicing. After Custom Tesla notifies you that the repairs and/or servicing are complete, you are required to collect the vehicle promptly at your own expense, or reasonable daily storage fees will be charged.
